穆（ぼく）
おだやか・敬う・和らぐ・静謐
「穆」とは、おだやか・敬う・和らぐ・静謐を意味する漢字。中国古典では「氣が穆として和す」と記され、神聖な静けさを表す最高級の美語です。その名のとおり、穆やかな空気に包まれた茶室で、日常の喧騒から離れた深い静寂をお愉しみください。
The character "穆" (boku) signifies serenity, reverence, gentleness and sacred stillness. In Chinese classics it appears in the phrase "the spirit is boku and harmonious" — the highest expression of tranquil beauty.
